Coldwell Banker Hubbell BriarWood Leading the Way in Innovation for Greater Lansing Real Estate Market Once Again

I’m excited to be attending Inman Connect this week in New York City.  This event promises to bring the energy of many of the best real estate professionals in the country to Manhattan.  I am honored to be representing Coldwell Banker Hubbell BriarWood Real Estate Company on a panel discussion Wednesday afternoon titled “What’s Real Estate Professionals Actually Doing with Technology”

The theme for Real Estate Connect NYC 2012 is “Leading the Way” Innovation in Action and the program will feature top thinkers and innovators from around the world.

The morning sessions will be highlighted by keynote presentations from featured speakers like Thomas Arnold from Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions group where he focuses on helping companies in the financial services, real estate and insurance businesses achieve their goals through Facebook’s powerful product and ad platform.

I am also excited to hear from Phil Libin, the CEO of Evernote, the company that builds innovative products and services that help millions worldwide capture, find and interact with today’s technology. Plus, Brian Brett, Managing Director of Customer Research, The New York Times will be a keynote speaker.

There are dozens more speaking at the general sessions each morning until Friday; however one of my favorites is the afternoon breakout sessions. Here’s where hundreds of innovative ideas from the people driving change in our real estate industry take place. There will be presenters who are entrepreneurs, top producers, brokers, financial services and marketing experts.

These sessions run all afternoon each day of the conference in 45 minute breakouts with In-depth workshops like Broker Summit, ConnectTech, MLS Solutions and Brand Management workshops. There will also be Innovation Tracks covering topics like Brokerage 3.0, Digital Marketing, Consumer Insights and Mastering Video.

As you can see by the in-depth topics and innovative speakers, I will have enough resources for our Coldwell Banker Hubbell Briarwood agents to continue their educational benefit throughout 2012 and beyond. Our state-of-the-art systems, programs, and tools continue to be the best in the industry because of programs like Inman Connect.

Now, I would negligent here if I failed to mention the tremendous networking opportunities I will have with some of the greatest thought providers in our industry, including executives from the country’s top real estate franchises. Many of the attendees are connected with me on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other real estate related sites where we network and collaborate throughout the year with some of the hottest topics affecting our industry. Those topics include Smartphone technology, geo location, cloud computing, IDX solutions, listing syndication, WordPress Blogs, lifestyle search, and much more.

Lastly, I am also excited to attend the trade show that is filled with companies that deliver the products real estate agents and companies need to be more successful in the real estate business. The cool thing about Inman Connect is the startups on the brink of greatness in Start-Up Alley. This is not all about shiny new objects hitting the technology world of real estate. It’s about innovation at its best.  That’s why Coldwell banker Hubbell BriarWood is on the cutting edge. We continue to invest in our real estate agents future and provide them the best opportunities to service their clients and customers with the best tools and knowledge for a successful transaction and their career.
